PART-TIME ADMIN ASSISTANT WANTED  

 

Lacy Scott & Knight Auction Centre are looking for a part-time admin assistant to assist in general office duties and auction administration.   The successful candidate will need to have good admin experience and be confident to learn auction-specific software.    

 

 

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Preparing formal valuations and typing up auction catalogues using transcription software and copy typing.

  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries, and covering reception when necessary.

  • Updating clients details including applying bids, taking payments and processing invoices.

  • Assisting on sale days with producing sale sheets for the auctioneers, uploading results to the website, inputting prices and online bidder details etc.

Hours to comprise alternate Tuesdays, every Thursday & Friday (9am-5.30pm), and three Saturdays per month (two being 9am-1pm and one being 8.30am-4.30pm).  Extra hours will be available during busy periods and as holiday cover.
