Part-time admin assistant wanted for a busy auction house in the heart of Bury St Edmunds.
Lacy Scott & Knight Auction Centre are looking for a part-time admin assistant to assist in general office duties and auction administration. The successful candidate will need to have good admin experience and be confident to learn auction-specific software.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Preparing formal valuations and typing up auction catalogues using transcription software and copy typing.
Dealing with telephone and email enquiries, some reception cover.
Updating clients details including applying bids, taking payments and processing invoices.
Assisting on sale days with producing sale sheets for the auctioneers, uploading results to the website, inputting prices and online bidder details etc.
Hours to comprise Thursday & Friday 9am-5.30pm and approx. 10 auction day Saturdays (9am-4pm) and non-sale day Saturdays (9am-1pm) throughout the year. Extra hours will be available during busy periods and as holiday cover.
