This extremely rare 1968 Citroen DS21 Decapotable is in showroom condition, owned for the last 9 years by our vendor. Just 1200 of these iconic cars were built with only a handful of originals remaining, consequently those on the road now are recreations. It has a 2.1 litre engine reconditioned 7,000 miles ago with the upgraded 5-speed gearbox which makes for relaxed cruising. New hydraulic pipework and hoses fitted at this time. Caliper seals renewed in 2019. The vendor is the first owner since the car was rebuilt in Hungary using a 1968 donor vehicle and new body parts; it is a Chapron in all but name with a new improved pressed steel rear tub, new hood and frame; the quality of the leather upholstery sets it apart from equivalent examples. It is finished in ‘bleu royale’ paintwork, one of the colours reserved specifically for Chapron models. The history file includes service record and body restoration photos.
The car won the ‘People’s Choice’ award at the national DS Rally in 2018 and was driven to the south of France and Champagne region that year.
Regularly serviced and maintained by the Norfolk DS specialist Peacock Engineering with a current MOT.

Alternatively we can send by Parcelforce 48 with insurance charged at £4 upto £500 cover, £8-£1000 cover, £12-£1500 and £20-£2500 cover. Lacy Scott & Knight accept no liability for items which are damaged or lost during postage, and cannot and will not assist in any claims unless insurance cover has been taken out. If you instruct your own courier packing is charged at £8 per parcel.
