Condition Report

Portuguese - large chip to underside of rim at 12 o'clock with two smaller further chips at 4 o'clock.

Spode - small chip to underside and further shallow chip to handle.

Cooper bottomed dish - no apparent faults.

Willow pattern - small chips to stopper, firing crack to underside.

Tureen and cover - hairline crack to base beside handle, chip to underside of cover.

Tureen and cover - stopper possibly associated, crazed to underside.

Radial - area of discolouration to blue border, spout good.

Fallow Deer - hairline cracks to edge, old break and repair to rim, discoloured, chip to tip of spout.

Girl at well - large crack running through the base from handle to handle, chips to underside and edges of both handles, further hairline crack to 12 o'clock.

Davenport - large piece missing and crack to spout on one side, large crack running around outside edge from handle to handle, further crack through interior rim, diagonal crack, crazed.

Bisto - underside of cover crazed, otherwise appears good.

Copeland Garrett - large crack at 5 o'clock running through centre of dish, top and bottom, with poor repair, further restoration to the same area outside edge, chips to underside.

Fairies - light wear to transfer, light surface scratches.

Susie Cooper - stopper appears to be original, heavily crazed, hairline cracks to underside of base, heavily crazed to centre, hairline crack to stopper and to aperture.

First Masons - heavily crazed, with hairline crack to cover.

Second Masons - with stopper, heavily crazed, with large chip to underside.

Strathmore - heavily crazed to both sides.

Continental - pitted to glaze, small chip to footrim.

Of course, you are also very welcome to come along on the day!  We are located in the heart of beautiful Bury St Edmunds and have our own car park.  

ARR - Artist's Resale Rights of 4% are applied to works of art by a UK/EEA living artist or an artist who has died within the last 70 years, which sell for over £1000.

At YOUR liability, we offer a fully tracked postage & packing service within mainland UK and across the globe for most items. We use APC Couriers and everything is sent 24 hour tracked and signed for.  Our standard mainland UK charge is £20 for up to 3 lots, and £2.00 per lot thereafter, regardless of weight (max.30kg). Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland & the islands - £25 for up to 3 lots then £1.50 per lot thereafter Some exclusions apply for larger lots such as dinner services, please contact our offices for a quote with regards to larger or bulkier lots.  Jewellery, watches, coins and high value small items will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery with maximum insurance of £2500.  

Please note that this service is NOT insured, therefore if purchasers require further cover, then they must arrange this themselves. Alternatively we can send by Parcelforce 48 with insurance charged at £4 upto £500 cover, £8-£1000 cover, £12-£1500 and £20-£2500 cover. Lacy Scott & Knight accept no liability for items which are damaged or lost during postage, and cannot and will not assist in any claims unless insurance cover has been taken out. If you instruct your own courier packing is charged at £8 per parcel. Please give clear instructions when settling your account as to your shipping requirements so that we can process full payment and ship within 10 working days.

You can simply add your postage costs to your invoice amount by bank transfer or when paying online
