Shaun Crichton, MA
Twentieth Century Design, Home & Interiors
Shaun originally joined Lacy Scott & Knight as a saleroom porter after completing his A-levels and soon fell in love with the world of antiques and auctions. He decided to further his studies in this field by undertaking a BA in Fine Arts Valuation at Southampton Institute. After one year working at a large London saleroom, he augmented his art and antiques education by completing an MA in Arts Market Appraisal at Kingston University. Shaun re-joined Lacy Scott & Knight in 2009 and has overseen the growth of our three-weekly Home & Interiors auction. His passion for modern art and design, and particular knowledge of furniture design and sculpture, inspired him to introduce bi-annual specialist sales of Twentieth Century Design to our auction calendar.
Away from the Auction Centre, sporty Shaun plays football and regularly attends Ipswich Town matches, he also swims and plays tennis.
