Our Toys & Models department just got bigger and better!
Changes to our Toys & Models auctions
Recent visitors to the auction centre will have noticed the large new building taking shape in our car park, which is now home to our ever-expanding Toys & Models department.
Having been one of the first auctioneers to hold regular specialist Toys & Models auctions back in the 1970s, these auctions have grown into the biggest one-day event of their kind in the UK, with hundreds of clients bidding in each auction.
Back in 2021, the sales calendar was expanded to six Toys & Models auctions per year instead of four, and the department has continued growing apace. Now, Lacy Scott & Knight have made a significant investment in the department by building a substantial extra cataloguing and storage area, which in turn will free up the previous space for use as a third saleroom.
There will also be substantial changes to the sales calendar.... including EVEN MORE Toys & Models auctions!
From this March, we will be holding Monthly Models sales online for all manner of general and collectable toys, alongside quarterly Select Toys & Models auctions. The monthly sales will take place on the middle Wednesday of each month starting on 18th March, and the select models sales will be now held on Tuesdays.

Of course, all this means that we need more Toys & Models.
Toying With the Idea of Selling?
Whether your looking to sell an entire collection or a single item, our team are always happy to advise clients on selling your Toys and Models.
The first step would be to contact the Toy department on 01284 748628 or email Oliver Leggett directly on oleggett@lsk.co.uk, or send details of your Toys and Models via post to our Toy and Collectors Models Department. We can deal with collections nationwide and have arranged collections from across the breadth and length of the UK.
Alternatively, our Toys and Models Department at Bury St Edmunds is open Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm, and we are always happy for collections to be brought straight into the auction centre.
At this point our Toy and Models Specialists will be able to appraise, value and discuss your collection completely free of charge with no obligation to sell. Whilst discussing the details of your collection, we will also confirm commision rates and charges related to selling.
