A French model 1866 Chassepot bayonet, having a 57cm Yataghan shaped fullered blade etched to the back edge Mre Imp/ale de Mutzig Aout 1868, the hooked quillon numbered K 49289, housed in a steel scabbard with matching numbers, 70cm, together with a 19th century socket bayonet, 52cm. (2)
