Suffolk-based artist, Ruth Simpson lives near Hessett in a stunning location surrounded by rolling hills and ancient coppice woods. The landscape on Ruth’s doorstep inspires her paintings and, working mostly in acrylic paints and inks, she recreates nature’s theatre and portrays the natural world. Many of her paintings show swathes of wildflowers that have self-seeded on field edges and in cottage gardens.
