Emile Pinedo (French 1840-1916), a bronze figure of Napoleon, in standing pose resting against a tree stump, wearing bicorne hat, cloak and boots, arms folded on his chest, legs crossed, with fragment of a wheel at his feet, raised on a three tier stepped marble plinth with a crown over N to the front, the bronze signed behind his right boot and with foundry mark verso flanked by the numbers 36 and 5, h.38cm.
