A gent's Patek Philippe Aquanaut stainless steel automatic calendar wristwatch, reference 5066A-001, having a calibre 330SC self-winding mechanical movement with 30-jewels, 48 hours power reserve, 21ct gold uni-directional winding rotor, gyromax balance wheel, the Geneva seal hallmark, movement No.3025339/4048478, crystal back cover, the black grid dial with applied polished Arabic numerals, white outer minute divisions with luminous 5-minute baton markers, date aperture at 3, polished baton hands with luminous inserts and white centre seconds, rubber black grid bracelet with signed double folding clasp, dia.36mm, purchased from Asprey & Garrard December 1998, serviced December 2019, with box, outer box, suede pouch, wallet, Patek Philippe certificate of origin and all papers.

The Aquanaut was first launched in 1997 with the vision to be 'Young, Modern and Unexpected'. Echoing the sportive yet refined style of the Nautilus, the Aquanaut was the first watch to be released by Patek with a rubber strap; this added level of comfort makes the watch an ideal everyday companion.

Condition report

In running order.

Some fine surface scratches to steel case.

Small dents to case at 2 o'clock and 5 o'clock.

Sponge insert to case is decaying.

Otherwise no apparent faults and appears little worn.
