A British 1827 pattern sword, having an 81cm curved blade, the gilt brass folding hilt with VR cypher, having a wire bound fish skin grip, 97cm, together with a 19th century Indian Tulwar, having an 82cm curved blade with a gilt decorated hilt and disc pommel, 95cm. (2)

Thursday 12th 10am-7pm.

Morning of sale from 9am.

Condition report

Indian sword – blade pitted and with several nicks to the edge, the sword grip is tight with no movement.


British sword – overall condition poor with nicks to almost the entire length of the blade, no number apparent, wire to grip is loose, fishskin grip with losses.

Of course, you are also very welcome to come along on the day!  We are located in the heart of beautiful Bury St Edmunds and have our own car park.

Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £18 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter.  European shipping rates and further details can be found here.

For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
