An Edwardian silver combination shooting butt marker/vesta of rectangular form, the hinged cover opening to reveal 8 (of 8) numbered ivory pegs, having a scrolling apperture for 6-10 guns at 1-10 positions, having further hinged cover for matches with striker to the inside lid, initialled A.J.D. 1908, stamped Patent No. 3217, J Vickery. 179. 181. 183. Regent St W, maker John Collard Vickery, London, 1907, 6 x 4cm.

Condition report

Some light surface scratches, larger scratch through the A initial, hallmarks slightly rubbed, scratch to top left corner from rolling aperture, over all very good condition.
