This vehicle has been consigned from a local deceased estate. It is currently non-running and a restoration project, which has been initiated but requires considerable further works.
The Rover 14 was produced by the British Rover car company between 1924 and 1948 as a medium size family car. It was announced as a successor to the Rover 12 with a more powerful engine and strengthened transmission. unusual spherical combustion chambers. Aside from a brief interruption during WWII, it remained on the market until being replaced by the Rover 75 in 1948.
Condition Report
Engine not seized, but we don’t have the starting handle.
Look of engine suggests that it has run quite recently (from deceased estate so cannot ask vendor).
Offside rear wing loose but present and with us.
Lacking rear floor.
Rear offside door has dropped due to wheel arch being off.
Car generally sound but for complete restoration.

Jewellery, watches, coins and high value small items will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery with maximum insurance of £2500.
Please note that this service is NOT insured, therefore if purchasers require further cover, then they must arrange this themselves. Alternatively we can send by Parcelforce 48 with insurance charged at £4 upto £500 cover, £8-£1000 cover, £12-£1500 and £20-£2500 cover. Lacy Scott & Knight accept no liability for items which are damaged or lost during postage, and cannot and will not assist in any claims unless insurance cover has been taken out. If you instruct your own courier packing is charged at £8 per parcel.
