To drawings from Bill Newcombe steam models, 4" scale model No. 7 S/C (single cylinder) Garrett of Leiston agricultural traction engine, with full set (21 sheets) drawings. Model appears complete but has been stored for some years and requires restoration. The boiler history is unknown, but is basically well built and is not seized but suffers from surface corrosion on some steel parts. It is single cylinder, 2 speed, with 3 ball governor belt driven from crankshaft with usual fittings for coal firing with 2 brass headlamps, water syphon tube winch hawser wood toolbox, steam whistle, twin safety valves, mechanical lubricator and oiler dashpots on moving parts. Cylinder draincocks manually operated from footplate, water pump, and injector. Supplied with test certificate from AJ Glaze Ltd, 25 August 1995, for welded steel boiler as built by Mr T Tirrell of Tilbrook Services

Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £18 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter.  European shipping rates and further details can be found here.

For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
