A large Chinese famille rose 'deer' vase, of archaistic broad-pear shape, having stylised dragon handles, glazed in iron-red and gilt, the whole enamel decorated with a herd of deer in a landscape with rocks and pine trees, six character Guang Xu (1875-1908) seal mark verso, h.46cm

Condition report

Well restored to top rim.

Some crazing, most noticable to white areas around top edge.

Some staining to lower areas and scratches/crazing to glaze.

Some light enamel wear all over, but decoration appears complete.
