Clarke, J & M'Arthur, J. The Naval Chronicle Containing a General and Biographical History of the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom; with a Variety of Original Papers on Nautical Subjects. Joyce Gold, London, 1799 – 1818, a complete run in 40 volumes. Presented in matching blue half leather bindings, boards dressed in blue marbled paper. Each volume with title and most with engraved frontis. Each volume well illustrated with numerous engraved plates, vignettes, folding maps, over 540 illustrations in all. Each containing the bookplate of Admiral Page. Indexed. 
Each volume appears to have been rebacked in matching blue leather adorned with gilt title, volume number, date and three anchors.
Vols 3 to 10 and 31 to 40 have no engraved frontis.

Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £20 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter. European shipping rates and further details can be found here.
For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
