Further to the most recent Government announcements, we are able to offer valuations by appointment only at the Auction Centre. 

Edward Crichton will be available strictly by appointment on Tuesday 10th November 10am-4pm for consignments into our 12th December Fine Art & Antiques auction.  

You can also use our Online Valuation Form for a quick valuation through our website – please include as many details as you are able for a more accurate appraisal.   Other valuers are available throughout the working week - please contact our offices to arrange an appointment. 

Since re-opening from lockdown back in June, we have held several very successful auctions including our September Fine Art & Antiques auction which had an unprecedented selling rate of 92%.   Amongst the lots offered in September was this stunning pair of maritime paintings by Carlo Bossoli which sold for £35,00.  We have also recently sold this rare skeleton clock by local maker John Pace, which achieved £18,000. It has been surprising to see such high demand, which even exceeds pre-lockdown levels, and we are welcoming consignments for our next Fine Art auction – please do get in touch if you are considering selling at auction.
