We are honoured to present this truly remarkable, mixed media artwork by expressionist artist, Ben Mosley, capturing that iconic moment when a butterfly rested upon Naomi Osaka at the Australian Open 2021.
Naomi went on to claim the Grand Slam title. This artwork represents a special moment in time that is beautifully portrayed by Ben Mosley and signed by Naomi Osaka in LA, courtesy of Cadogan Tate, not only as an extraordinary item of tennis memorabilia, but also a stunning original artwork.
One of the most explosive and influential tennis players of all-time, Naomi is the first Asian player to hold #1 ranking in singles and the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam. Her extraordinary tennis triumphs combined with her off-court activism make her one of the biggest global names in sport. Naomi Osaka was the face of the Tokyo 2020 Games and had the highest honour of being the final torch bearer and lighting the Olympic cauldron.
In 2013, Naomi entered the WTA professional circuit as a rising star quickly gaining fans and media attention through her powerful serve and strong forehand. Since then, she has won 4 Grand Slams - twice winning the US Open and Australian Open. She has won all 4 of her Grand Slam finals played, making her only the third player in history to do so after Monica Seles and Roger Federer.
In 2020, Osaka was named Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year, Ad Week’s Most Powerful Woman in Sports, Forbes Highest Paid Female Athlete of all Time and one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People,
She has also graced the cover of The Wall Street Journal Magazine, Ad Week, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, High Snobiety, Harper's Bazaar Japan and Vogue, to only name a few.
We are delighted to present Ben Mosley's original, deep edged canvas, mixed media artwork, including 24 karat gold and Palladium leaf, entitled Naomi & the Butterfly. The artwork has been signed by Naomi Osaka in LA, courtesy of Cadogan Tate.

Jewellery, watches, coins and high value small items will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery with maximum insurance of £2500.
Please note that this service is NOT insured, therefore if purchasers require further cover, then they must arrange this themselves. Alternatively we can send by Parcelforce 48 with insurance charged at £4 upto £500 cover, £8-£1000 cover, £12-£1500 and £20-£2500 cover. Lacy Scott & Knight accept no liability for items which are damaged or lost during postage, and cannot and will not assist in any claims unless insurance cover has been taken out. If you instruct your own courier packing is charged at £8 per parcel. Please give clear instructions when settling your account as to your shipping requirements so that we can process full payment and ship within 10 working days.
