Your chance to bid for an original drawing of your beloved pet exquisitely created by artist Kate Raggett from your favourite photo.

A portrait is the perfect present for the animal lover in your life, as it is such a special and meaningful gift that captures the timeless spirit of your beloved four-legged friend.

The artwork will be produced using Fine Art quality pencils and pastels on Fine Art acid-free paper, supplied unframed so that the portrait can be framed to your own taste. It takes c. 6-8 weeks to create a portrait from the confirmation of the reference photo.

About the Artist:

Kate is a professional artist who graduated with a Fine Art BA Hons from Goldsmiths College, London in 1994. Living and working in the rural village of Grosmont, on the Welsh border, she is a devoted animal lover having grown up with cats and dogs and feeling a deep connection with them.

Kate enjoys sensing the individual personality and soul of the animal she draws and goes to great lengths to capture the idiosyncrasies of each animal. She has her own beloved four-legged companion, a Romanian rescue dog named Merlin, with whom she has an inseparable bond.

Terms & Conditions:

• Photos of the pet supplied by the client should be of good quality and a high resolution (minimum 1MB), in focus, taken at eye level with the animal, in natural daylight, with sufficient detail of the animal’s eyes and fur.
• Please supply a good range of images to ensure that the best photo can be selected. Once the most appropriate image has been agreed, by both the client and artist, the portrait will be commenced.
• Minimum lead time required is 6-8 weeks (subject to the artist’s commission schedule) from confirmation of the agreed photo to be used.
• The portrait will be a single head portrait on a white background, with the head centred on the paper.
• To be signed on the front by the artist, titled with the animal’s name and dated on the date of completion (any preferred variance of this needs to be confirmed in writing by the client prior to the portrait’s completion).
• Once the portrait is complete the client will be emailed a photo of the portrait prior to its dispatch.
