A Royal Doulton stoneware tyg, circa 1905, commemorating the centenary of the death of Nelson, of waisted form with three rope twist loop handles moulded with a portrait of Nelson within a cartouche below the date of birth and death, flanked by two further cartouches, one with coat of arms, the other with an inscription "England Expects Every Man to do his Duty", having impressed lion and circle mark verso, incised MB probably for Maud Bowden, h.16.5cm.
