A WW II R.A.F. Irvin flying jacket, in brown leather with sheepskin interior, with Air Ministry label size 40 825961/38 and dated 1938. Issued to Flight Sergeant P. Scoulding 2nd Tactical Airforce.

Condition report

Overall the jacket is in very good condition.

It belonged to the vendors father who ‘dressed’ the jacket and wore it once a year on Remembrance Sunday.

Size 40.

Marked AM to label.

Leather is very supple.

Some light scuffs.

Label to interior present but hanging off and would need re-stitching.

Dent or possible burn to front left near zip.

Small hole to inside of right sleeve near zip.

Main zip marked Clix, sleeve zips not marked.
