Provenance: Purchased by the current vendor and with receipt from the Meyer Gallery Ltd, 14 Brook Street, W1, dated 12th January 1959, price £225

Condition report

Not titled, title was taken from original purchase receipt which is with the painting.

No inscriptions, only labels.

Very abstract brush stroke with similar colour tones so we are unable to describe content of painting.

Small raised area to canvas towards lower edge at 6 o’clock, only visible on close inspection.

Colours good and original.

No apparent repairs or restoration.

Housed in original frame and glazed.

Overall a very good ‘ready to hang’ work.

Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £20 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter.  European shipping rates and further details can be found here.

For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
