A large late 19th century Italian carved white marble mythological figure, modelled as a standing robed child, arms crossed and holding a scroll, open stanced with a devil like creature to centre of naturalistic carved base, unsigned, h.120cm
Losses to top side of each toe.
Some thumb and fingernail size surface losses to bottom edge of robes.
Further approx. 7cm long surface chipped loss to raised area at back of figure towards base.
Some heavier areas of ingrained dust and dirt to low relief areas.
Otherwise minor general surface imperfections only, overall a good decorative piece.
