Attributed to Bombadier John Leonard Gurton D.F.M., an interesting group of items to include R.A.F. Observer's and Air Gunners Flying Log Book with entires showing bombing missions over German territory, with the last entry dated 15/2/44 showing Opps-Berlin Failed to return and stamped Death Presumed. A letter to his parents recounts one such mission over Germany and tells how they were so low on fuel that they only just made it back and landed in the first place they could on the South Coast. Also included in this lot are 1939-1945 Star, Air Crew Europe Star, and War medal with replacement Distinguished Flying medal, 1939-45 Star, Air Crew Europe and War medals with miniatures a Type B-6 leather flying helmet and photograph etc.

Of course, you are also very welcome to come along on the day!  We are located in the heart of beautiful Bury St Edmunds and have our own car park.  


Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £20 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter.  European shipping rates and further details can be found here.

For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
