MELLER, Charles James 1836-1869, Naturalist and Surveyor to Livingstone's Zambesi Expedition, 7 letters, to Hon. George Elliot comprising 47 large close written pages detailing activities on the Zambesi Expedition and in Madagascar, also a covering note from Elliot to Sir Roderick Murchison, President Royal Geographic Society, drawing attention to Meller's observations on the Zambesi Expedition. Sir Roderick notes this "I am inclined to agree with Mr Meller. It is a wild goose chase, but Dr Livingstone must be allowed to try". Also 2 further letters on the subject from Sir Roderick to Elliot (9)

Of course, you are also very welcome to come along on the day! We are located in the heart of beautiful Bury St Edmunds and have our own car park.
Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £20 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter. European shipping rates and further details can be found here.
For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
