*A cased set of six Royal Worcester coffee cups and saucers, each piece hand-painted with a Scottish castle and signed 'Stinton', views are of Caerlaverock, Dunderave, Dunolly, Dunstaffnage, Dunvegan, and Invergarry, each having puce mark verso, with further ship mark M9005, date code for 1938; together with a matching set of six coffee spoons by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1938, housed in a fitted blue leather case bearing a label to the lid interior for James Ramsey of Dundee

Condition report

One cup with light crazing and gilt splashed body.


Saucers with surface scratches to gilt centre.


Light handling wear throughout.


Case with splits and general wear.


Lacking brass catch to one side of case.

You can also register and bid live while the auction is taking place through our LSKlive portal (3% plus VAT surcharge applies) which becomes available half an hour before the auction is due to start.  This  platform uses thesaleroom.com technology and is completely secure.  Once you have registered your details through our website, you won't need to re-register for future sales - just sign in and start bidding!  Please note that if you register for our auction on thesaleroom.com first, then you will be liable for their 4.95% plus VAT fee instead of our 3% (plus VAT) fee.

Of course, you are also very welcome to come along on the day!  We are located in the heart of beautiful Bury St Edmunds and have our own car park.

Most Mainland UK parcels can be sent in-house for our flat standard rate of £18 for up to 3 lots and £1.50 per lot thereafter.  European shipping rates and further details can be found here.

For outside of Europe, large or high value lots we recommend MailBoxes (details will be sent along with your invoice). If you choose an alternative courier we can pack for £8 per parcel.
