SELLING

If you are considering selling at auction, Lacy Scott & Knight would be delighted to receive your instructions. We have an excellent reputation for achieving high prices at auction, and with the advent of digital technology we are now able to reach a wider audience.

WE CAN SELL
We can sell almost anything. Items can be brought into the Auction Centre any weekday 9am-5.30pm for a free appraisal for sale. Valuers are always on hand to appraise items and advise on guide prices, recommend appropriate sales and issue receipts.

WE CANNOT SELL
We do not sell the following: electrical items, foam-filled furniture ie soft furnishings manufactured between 1950-1988 (all furniture manufactured after 1988 carries labels saying that it complies with the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations 1988), firearms, furs, clothing and flat-pack furniture.

HOME VISITS
Valuers are happy to call at your home to appraise larger items and large collections, without obligation. To arrange an appointment please call us on 01284 748 623/624.

PROPERTY CLEARANCE
A complete chattels clearance service is available for solicitors, executors and trustees. Following advice from our valuers, chattels can be removed from a property without delay, minimising the risk of burglary should the property be left unattended. Staff and contractors will carefully pack all items and remove them for sale. Items will be held free of charge in secure storage prior to auction. Items of negligible auction value will be removed from the property and disposed of at the request of the consignor.

SALES TO SUIT
A wide spectrum of auctions held throughout the year ensures your property is offered to the best advantage.

We can provide country house sales on the premises for larger estates or specialist on-site sales for businesses etc.

Our comprehensive calendar of auctions, all fully catalogued, attracts buyers both nationally and internationally.

Every day is valuation day at Lacy Scott & Knight

We have valuers available at the Auction Centre every weekday from 9am - 5.30pm
