SIR BOBBY ROBSON CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC IX AT PESTANA VILA SOL - Sir Bobby's golf tournament held on the Algarve in Portugal in aid of the Refugio Aboim Ascensão has become a high spot on the summer calendars of footballers, football managers and celebrities. 30 teams will compete in Bobby's tournament on Friday July 6th and Saturday July 7th 2012 (tournament dates subject to final confirmation by the organisers), played at Pestana Vila Sol's championship course which has twice hosted the Portuguese Open. The team of 3 will play with a celebrity drawn from the world of football, other sports and entertainment. Celebrities such as Alan Shearer, Steve Bruce, Mick McCarthy, Sam Allardyce, Alan Brazil, Mick Mills and goalkeeping legends Pat Jennings and Bob Wilson to name just a few. Prize includes; A team of 3 plus your celebrity; practice round of golf on Friday with buggies; 3 places at the Celebrities private dinner on Friday night; tournament played Saturday morning with buggies; lunch at the clubhouse for your team following your round; Gala dinner drinks party at the fabulous Pestana Hotel with dinner, prize-giving and cabaret - a night with the stars under the stars
