These quarterly sales are held every March, June, September and December.  They typically comprise approx 600 lots to include; antiquarian books, fine English, Continental & Oriental ceramics, period glass, silverware, fine jewellery & watches, paintings and sculpture, Asian works of art, clocks & barometers, and fine furniture & furnishings.

Recent sale highlights include a set of three Meisson porcelain rabbits which sold for £21,000, a Nicole Freres music box for £18,000, a John Pace of Bury St Edmunds rare year-going skeleton clock which sold for £18,000, a Chinese Qianlong period ruyi sceptre selling for £130,000, and an Edward Seago oil on canvas for £37,500.

A pair of Jane Austen and Napoleonic War interest George III silver Egyptian Revival commemorative table candlesticks were consigned for our June 2025 auction, which happily coincided with the 250th anniversary celebrations of the great author's birth.  Awarded to her naval officer brother Francis in 1808 for safely escorting an East India Company convoy, while battles raged around them, the candlesticks had incredible historical appeal.  They sold for £13,100

Our 23rd June Fine Art & Antiques auction includes an impressive selection of over fifty clocks, ranging from elaborate 17th century lantern clocks to Regency bracket clocks and beautifully lacquered longcases.  As befits an auction house in Bury St Edmunds with its rich history of watch and clockmaking, there are several examples by local makers.
