These quarterly sales are held every March, June, September and December. They typically comprise approx 600 lots to include; antiquarian books, fine English, Continental & Oriental ceramics, period glass, silverware, paintings and sculpture, clocks & barometers, and fine furniture & furnishings.
Recent sale highlights include a set of three Meisson porcelain rabbits which sold for £21,000, a Nicole Freres music box for £18,000, a John Pace of Bury St Edmunds rare year-going skeleton clock which sold for £18,000, a Chinese Qianlong period ruyi sceptre selling for £130,000, and an Edward Seago oil on canvas for £37,500.
A pair of Jane Austen and Napoleonic War interest George III silver Egyptian Revival commemorative table candlesticks were consigned for our June 2025 auction, which happily coincided with the 250th anniversary celebrations of the great author's birth. Awarded to her naval officer brother Francis in 1808 for safely escorting an East India Company convoy, while battles raged around them, the candlesticks had incredible historical appeal. They sold for £13,100
