Quarterly Fine Art sales are held every March, June, September
and December, encompassing approximately 600 lots that include
antiquarian books, fine English, Continental and Oriental Ceramics,
period glass, silver, jewellery and watches, works of art, pictures
and prints, clocks and barometers, rugs, and fine furniture and
furnishings.
Recent highlights include the sale of a Chinese Qianlong Period
carved Ruyi sceptre for £130,000, a Chinese bronze and enamel bowl
for £72,000, and an Edward Seago oil on canvas for £37,500.
Closing date for entries - 4 weeks prior to sale.
Viewing on the Thursday preceding the
sale from 10am-7pm and the Friday preceding the sale from
10am-7pm.
